Hi! I'm so glad you're here! My name is Ainsley Rose Meadows.
A West Virginia native, I currently live in Morgantown, where I work as a Social Media Specialist and Freelance Photographer. In 2022, I officially launched Ainsley Meadows Media, where I use my skillset to tell stories that are heartfelt, grounded, and true.
I discovered photography in college and instantly fell in love with it. What started as a way to capture memories soon became a way to express ideas and connect with others through honest, meaningful images. In May 2025, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance, a Bachelor of Science in Advertising, and a Minor in Photography.
When I’m not taking photos, I’m probably drinking coffee, doing barre workouts, or outside somewhere. I love music, playing guitar, and spending slow evenings with my friends, my fiancé Andrew, or my cats. My faith is the defining part of who I am, and it shapes the way I see the world. I try to live simply and honestly, and I bring that same energy into my work.
LITURGY OF A CREATIVE
This creativity doesn’t come from me alone; it’s rooted in the Imago Dei, the truth that we are made in the image of the Creator. God was the first artist, shaping the world with His hands and breathing life into what He made. We see this in the very first pages of Genesis: God creates, blesses, and calls His creation good. We mirror Him when we create; when we bring beauty, order, and meaning into the world.
I believe our desire to make, to tell stories, and to reflect beauty comes from God. Beauty itself draws us closer to Him. It stirs something deep in us: wonder, reverence, and a longing for what is good and whole. While beauty shows up in art and aesthetics, I believe it goes far beyond that. To live a beautiful life means weaving beauty into every part of how we live: in our faith, our relationships, our daily rhythms, and the way we create.
A particularly meaningful picture of creativity in Scripture comes from Exodus 35. The tabernacle, a sacred space for God to dwell among His people, was built through a collaborative, creative, and sacrificial process. That’s what I hope my work becomes: a place of sacred dwelling. A place built with care, offered in love.
I want my work to be marked by hospitality and generosity. In Mark 4, Jesus tells the parable of the mustard seed: how something small, once sown, can grow into something far greater. A tree doesn’t know who will find shelter in its branches. In the same way, I may never know who will find peace, hope, or beauty in my work, but I want my images to offer that kind of refuge.
Creativity is an act of hospitality. Every time we create, we extend an invitation, a place for others to pause, feel, reflect, and maybe even heal. We are always held in the hospitality of another Creator, the One who made space for us first.
So I create with that intention: to serve others, to honor the stories they carry. I want to offer my work as a gift, work that is rooted in love and shared with open hands.
